Affordable Refugee and Immigration Legal Services
Making a difference in the lives of people from around the globe, assisting them with immigration legal services at a fraction of the cost.
We are dependent on the generous support of others to sustain our low cost legal practice. Your giving is changing lives in Pittsburgh and beyond. Thank you!

Who We Serve
Located on the North Side of Pittsburgh, PA we serve primarily low-income immigrant and refugee families in need of immigration legal services.
In Allegheny County alone, there are over 67,000 people who were born outside of the United States.
Only 37% of people in immigration court have access to legal representation.
What We Do
We welcome each immigrant and refugee with the love of Christ and uphold their dignity as we represent them, give them voice and defend their rights.
We primarily help individuals and families with issues surrounding Green Cards, Naturalization, Family Reunification, Asylum Claims and other related immigration cases.
We hope to add Removal Defense before Pittsburgh’s Immigration Court in the future.

Who Knew
In 2018, CIAC set out to serve 100 people by the end of 2019. Little did we know that with little to no advertising being done that God would continue to reveal to us how big the need for immigration services is in this city!
In 2020, over 250 clients were served despite the COVID-19 pandemic and we are experiencing even more growth in 2021.

. . . every once in a while, in the lives of individuals, neighborhoods, cities or human organizations, something happens — something is founded — which is wholly necessary and wholly good. CIAC is such an event, and such an organization.
Pittsburgh Post Gazette
It may be a small organization, but the Christian Immigration Advocacy Center (CIAC), located in Pittsburgh’s Northside, does big work.
